Glass: Melissa Dyne
May 29–August 10, 2008

What are the distinctions between art and craft? Employing industrially produced skyscraper glass, Melissa Dyne's installation explores the physical, material and phenomenological properties of glass in its most common form: the window pane. This site-specific installation engages the architecture of the building, using photographs of the work-in-progress at an industrial warehouse to further address the spatial contexts for the display of art.
