Museum of Contemporary Craft
SCHOOL'S OUT! / CRAFT'S IN!

School’s Out!/Craft’s In! provides students an outlet for hands-on creative exploration during scheduled days when public school is not in session. Students will spend time in the Museum's exhibitions looking at work, followed by a hands-on craft making workshop. Taught by professional art educators, the Museum’s camps offer kids an opportunity to explore the questions, “What is craft?” and “How is it a part of our everyday lives?

This fall, all sessions focus on the theme of COLLABORATION. Students will explore what it means for artists to collaborate, different types of collaboration and how collaboration affects the creative process and the product. Each session will use different materials and processes to explore the theme.
