During the months of June and July it’s all about glass at Museum of Contemporary Craft. Coinciding with the 2008 Glass Art Society Conference, The Gallery will present for purchase pieces by some of today’s hot up-and-coming glass artists. From highly sculptural works to elegant functional ware, Emergent Forms features cutting-edge work that is setting trends in glass making.
Artists include Alex Anagnostou, Allison Ciancibelli, Alex Farnham, Nickolas Keric, Jason Lawson, Peter McGrain, Jeremy Newman, Andy Paiko, Anthony Parker, Lynn Read, Joshua Rodine, Schafermeyer-Kelly Glass, Boyd Suguki and Leigh Wyatt.

Deconstructing imagery found on street signs, Boris Bally reconfigures salvaged metal into chairs, key rings and coasters, employing humor, environmentalism and a bold, unique style. Bally’s work will be on view in the Museum during the Manuf®actured exhibition; pieces from several series by Bally will be available for purchase in The Gallery during the months of August and September.
