HALVORSEN ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE |
The Halvorsen Artist-in-Residence program – named in honor of Ruth Elise Halvorsen, an educator and long-time advocate of this organization – has honored emerging ceramists for nearly forty years. The residency provided time and space in support of experimentation and growth with the medium, resulting in a solo exhibition with a piece accessioned into the Museum's permanent collection.
The Museum is currently reviewing logistics for the future of the residency program, given the new opportunities to restructure the residency program that our recent move supports. The Web site will be updated with more detailed information as soon it becomes available.
